ICT Specialist

Designs and operationalises an ICT centre at Tanzania's Peacekeeping Training Centre to strengthen early warning, reporting and peacebuilding capacity. The assignment develops infrastructure and digital platforms, trains staff and partners, establishes sustainable maintenance and data practices, and builds dashboards and workflow applications for UNDP Tanzania's programme and operational reporting.

• Assess ICT systems, infrastructure and capacity gaps
• Design and support installation of networking, reporting and early-warning systems
• Develop standard operating procedures for equipment, systems and data handling
• Design and deliver training for staff and partners
• Develop preventive-maintenance plans and sustainability recommendations
• Build dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Develop business applications and workflow automation

• At least three years of relevant experience in ICT systems development and deployment
• English

• Training of Trainers delivery experience
• Early-warning or data-systems experience
• Experience with government institutions or training centres
• Experience in peacebuilding, security or development contexts
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure data services and data modelling
