Teaching Digital Skills and SDGs to Primary School Students in Rural China

Volunteer teams deliver digital-literacy and Sustainable Development Goal classes for adolescent girls in rural primary schools, helping participants develop practical community-focused innovation proposals.

• Participate in online interviews as a volunteer team for eligibility assessment
• Complete online training videos and sessions on the activity toolkit
• Design and implement five-to-seven-day camp activity plans
• Prepare online training proposals for approval by project staff
• Collect activity stories and photos and coordinate participant feedback
• Guide rural girl participants to submit at least three innovation proposals

• Applicants must apply as a volunteer team rather than as individuals
• Commitment to contribute as part of a team throughout implementation
• Familiarity with rural Chinese communities and education
• Good interpersonal, networking and communication skills
• Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and social media
• Chinese is required

• Prior teaching, facilitation, summer camp or volunteer tutoring experience
