UNDP Djibouti’s internship programme offers three students or recent graduates practical experience across communications, programme management and ICT. Interns create digital content, support events and reporting, research data, maintain office technology and assist users under specialist supervision.

• Create print and digital content, including brochures, reports, newsletters and social-media publications
• Produce visual and multimedia materials for social channels and public-awareness campaigns
• Cover workshops, conferences and field visits through photography and video
• Prepare programme reports, proposals and presentations in line with UNDP standards
• Support logistics, participant coordination and documentation for meetings, workshops and training
• Research and compile data, good practices, case studies and knowledge products
• Install, configure and maintain office hardware and software and assist users
• Update ICT asset records, support troubleshooting and coordinate external service interventions

• Applicants must be enrolled in a master’s or higher programme in communications, economic development, environmental studies or information technology
• Alternatively, applicants must be in the final year of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Recent graduates from an eligible programme must start the internship within one year of graduation
• Applicants enrolled in a postgraduate professional programme that includes an internship are eligible
• French proficiency is required
• Microsoft Office proficiency is required

• The country office is recruiting three interns across communications, programme management and ICT
