Job Description
Delivers customer-focused human-resources support for IFRC’s Panama office across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, talent management, payroll and benefits. The assistant maintains HR records and systems, guides staff on policies and D365, supports workforce development and helps National Societies deploy human-resources capacity during emergency operations.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support managers to register positions and manage the recruitment cycle
- Draft employment offers and contracts and complete onboarding actions
- Identify development needs and support training and career-path planning
- Maintain HR-policy knowledge and support employee lifecycle processes
- Guide staff on D365 queries and maintain accurate personnel records
- Process Panama payroll and update ERP budget codes
- Administer pension, health and life-insurance benefits
- Provide HR support and deployment assistance for emergency operations
Role Requirements
- University degree in human resources management, business administration or a relevant area
- 1 to 3 years of HR generalist experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience in organizational development, recruitment or selection
- Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish
Desired Criteria
- Availability to work outside normal hours when necessary
- Ability to work in cross-cultural and cross-functional settings
