Global Initiative Facilitator

Facilitates global coordination of the TERRA agroecology and agroforestry initiative, aligning founding members, country partners and institutional stakeholders. The role convenes governance and policy processes, monitors implementation and budgets, develops partnerships and resource-mobilization opportunities, and provides strategic reporting that advances restorative rural development at global scale.

• Facilitate founding organizations and country partners in delivering agreed TERRA priorities and activities
• Develop and monitor the annual work plan and budget for Steering Committee approval
• Convene coordination meetings, policy processes, strategic forums and public outreach events
• Provide implementation updates, opportunities and challenges to the Steering Committee and partners
• Advance resource mobilization, donor engagement and national and international partnerships
• Prepare monitoring and decision-support reports on work plans, budgets, events and partnerships

• Advanced degree in Environmental Sciences, Agriculture, Rural Development, Public Policy, International Relations, Economics, Public Administration, Project Management or a related field
• At least five years of progressively responsible experience in sustainable rural development, agroecology, restoration, climate action, biodiversity or related initiatives
• Working knowledge of English and Portuguese
• National of Brazil

• Experience with international organizations, development cooperation agencies or global partnerships
• Knowledge of climate finance, blended finance and rural financing instruments
• Knowledge of French, Spanish, German or Chinese
