Responsibilities
- Serve as the national focal point and facilitator for RESIslands activities in Cabo Verde
- Convene workshops, consultations, training events and project-pipeline write-shops
- Liaise with government institutions, the AISCC, United Nations offices, civil society and academia
- Provide technical assistance for national training, risk diagnostics and project deliverables
- Prepare field visits, logistics, permits, invitations and national service procurement
- Produce technical progress reports, activity briefs and monitoring documentation
- Collect data and disseminate project tools, practices and lessons
- Secure stakeholder validation and post-project uptake of platforms, pipelines and knowledge products
Requirements
- Advanced university degree at master’s level in climate science, environmental policy, project management, economics, social sciences, geography, geoinformatics or a related field
- At least five years of professional experience in climate resilience, institutional development or project coordination
- Cabo Verde nationality and residence
- Fluency in English and Portuguese
