Overview
UNDP's Project Coordinator in Ramallah will support SHAMSI Palestine, a municipal solar and battery-finance platform. The role manages workplans, budgets, risks and field follow-up; coordinates local governments, banks, donors and communities; monitors results; prepares reports; and delivers gender-responsive communication.

Responsibilities
- Maintain project workplans, activities, budgets, risks and issue logs
- Conduct field visits and track implementation progress
- Coordinate local governments, private-sector partners, donors, NGOs and communities
- Implement cash-transfer procedures and ensure UNDP compliance
- Prepare procurement plans, donor reports, project briefs and fact sheets
- Monitor indicators and document lessons and success stories
- Develop communication and visibility materials
Requirements
- Secondary education, with a bachelor's degree in renewable energy, business administration, international development or a related field given due consideration
- At least seven years of relevant experience with secondary education or four years with a bachelor's degree
- Experience coordinating or managing renewable-energy or socioeconomic-development projects
- Experience with multilateral donors, local government units and the private sector
- Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation tools
- Fluency in English and Arabic
