Responsibilities

  • Analyse political, social, economic and environmental trends
  • Design and formulate sustainable-development programme interventions
  • Oversee project initiation, implementation, revisions and closure
  • Monitor programme results, budgets, delivery risks and expenditures
  • Prepare donor, corporate and financial reports
  • Identify funding opportunities and support resource mobilisation
  • Advise government and partners on environmental policy priorities
  • Build knowledge, partnerships and staff capacity

Requirements

  • Advanced degree with 2 years of relevant experience or bachelor's degree with 4 years
  • Experience providing environmental management advice and managing sustainable-development projects in Brazil
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English
