Physiotherapy Doctor

Provides patient-centred physiotherapy care for UN personnel, families and eligible beneficiaries at the UN Health Care Center. The contractor assesses patients, delivers rehabilitation interventions, advises clinical teams and supports safe equipment and treatment practices.

Department: United Nations Health Care Center, Administration and Conference Management Division

• Assess patients and develop individual physiotherapy treatment plans
• Deliver manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, pain-management and rehabilitation interventions
• Educate patients on self-management, injury prevention and sustained physical activity
• Maintain comprehensive clinical reports and advise referring clinicians on investigations or referrals
• Ensure safe operation and maintenance of physiotherapy equipment and infection-control compliance
• Contribute to multidisciplinary case discussions and integrated patient-management plans
• Design interventions that physiotherapy nursing staff can implement independently
• Counsel patients and families on conditions and expected rehabilitation outcomes

• Doctor of Physiotherapy
• At least seven years of professional physiotherapy experience
• Fluent spoken and written English
