Overview

Supports project management and stakeholder participation across the Gran Selva Maya Biocultural Corridor. The role follows protected-area commitments, coordinates reporting and events, proposes annual priorities and strengthens collaboration among conservation areas, community initiatives and project partners.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate progress reports and follow-up requests from protected areas in the biocultural corridor
  • Propose annual priorities for CONANP participation in the corridor
  • Organise meetings, workshops, missions and events that support corridor commitments
  • Provide technical coordination to protected areas, voluntary conservation areas and other conservation measures
  • Monitor projects implemented within the corridor with strategic partners
  • Support alignment and synergy among participating conservation initiatives

Requirements

  • Completed upper-secondary education
  • At least seven years of relevant experience with upper-secondary education, or four years with a bachelor’s degree in Biology, Ecology or a related field
  • Experience in integrated ecosystem management, community forestry or participatory planning
  • Experience preparing high-quality reports
  • Experience in planning, coordination and facilitation
  • Mexican citizenship or immigration status authorising the work
