Supports FAO Tunisia's field programmes by mobilising communities and facilitating inclusive communication with farmers, beneficiaries and local partners. The volunteer gathers community feedback, documents needs and assists field activity delivery across Gafsa, Medenine and Kebili. The assignment strengthens participatory approaches to sustainable agriculture, food security and rural development.

• Support the organisation and delivery of community communication, awareness sessions and field meetings
• Disseminate information on FAO programmes and initiatives to target groups
• Strengthen local-community participation in agriculture, livelihoods and rural-development activities
• Establish effective communication channels with farmers, beneficiaries and local stakeholders
• Collect and transmit community needs, proposals and feedback to the programme team
• Document field information and identify barriers to activity implementation
• Support preparation, delivery and initial follow-up of FAO field activities
• Coordinate with FAO teams and local partners to deliver inclusive and participatory activities

• Baccalaureate or equivalent secondary-school diploma
• Good knowledge of the local context and communities in Gafsa, Medenine and Kebili
• Arabic and French

• University degree in agriculture, rural development, social sciences, community development, communication or a related field
• Knowledge of database management and office technology equipment
• Interest in agriculture, food security, rural development and the United Nations system
• English
