Job Description
Support FAO's independent Office of Evaluation in evaluations that strengthen evidence, learning and results accountability. The officer will support programme and project evaluations, prepare reports and materials, improve methods and processes, conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis, assure evaluation quality, collaborate with partners, and promote the use of findings across FAO.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support evaluations of programmes programme components and project clusters
- Prepare evaluation reports and related briefs papers and presentations
- Develop evaluation methodologies tools and corporate processes
- Conduct rigorous qualitative and quantitative analyses and document reproducible work
- Assure quality of evaluations and reports conducted by the team
- Collaborate with FAO units UN evaluation bodies and multidisciplinary partners
Role Requirements
- Advanced degree in research and evaluation methods, data science, economics, econometrics, geography, political science, public policy, sociology or statistics
- Three years of relevant evaluation experience
- Working English and intermediate knowledge of another official FAO language
Desired Criteria
- PhD degree is highly desirable
- Field experience in more than one location is desirable
