Education and Child Protection Content Development Consultant

UNICEF seeks a home-based national consultant in Brasilia to develop education and child-protection content that helps schools prevent and respond to violence. The consultant will synthesize evidence, conduct interviews and oversee publication processes for knowledge products. The six-month assignment supports UNICEF Brazil’s strategy for education that protects children against violence.

• Develop journalistic and institutional content for education professionals
• Review and analyze bibliographic references and evidence
• Synthesize studies, publications and meeting findings into knowledge products
• Conduct interviews for education and child-protection content
• Oversee graphic design and publication processes
• Support content on violence prevention through education

• Master’s degree in linguistics, language studies, communication, education or a related field
• Ten years of professional experience in communications and production of journalistic and institutional content
• Fluency in Portuguese and basic knowledge of English

• Experience producing content on children’s rights, gender issues or migration emergencies
• Experience working for the United Nations system
