Job Description

Leads secure digital platforms that support UNICEF fundraising, partnerships, knowledge management and collaboration. Based in the PFP-ICT Applications Support unit, the specialist guides application governance, lifecycle management and innovation across AI, automation and cloud services, coordinating delivery of digital experience, content-management and supporter-relationship platforms.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Lead development, implementation and operation of secure integrated digital platforms
  • Coordinate technical support for the fundraising digital ecosystem, content management and supporter relationship systems
  • Enhance applications governance and collaboration with business owners and partners
  • Manage business-application lifecycle and system integration points
  • Promote technology innovation across artificial intelligence, automation and cloud services
  • Act as ICT focal point for AI-supported fundraising, CMS platforms and cloud services
  • Collaborate with PFP-ICT, headquarters and knowledge-management groups
  • Support digital strategy for fundraising, partnerships and collaboration

Role Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, information technology management, business administration or related social science fields
  • At least five years of information-technology management and business-operations experience in a large international organization or corporation
  • Experience designing, developing and maintaining AI-supported web applications
  • Experience with enterprise content-management systems and digital experience platforms
  • Experience documenting software requirements and design descriptions and using version-control and DevOps practices
  • Fluency in English

Desired Criteria

  • Experience reviewing, testing and correcting AI-generated output for logic flaws or security vulnerabilities
  • Experience with complex ICT projects, vendors and multiple business and technical stakeholders
  • Networking and internet-protocol knowledge
  • Project Management or ITIL certification
