Delivers ICT services and solutions for UNICEF South Africa, keeping infrastructure and user access reliable while supporting programme and operational effectiveness. The officer manages broad ICT functions, technical support, capacity building, knowledge management and administrative processes under established policies, service-level agreements and secure service standards.

• Enable continuous operation of ICT infrastructure and access to ICT solutions and services
• Provide user support and build ICT capacity while maintaining knowledge resources
• Support operational and administrative ICT tasks
• Assist delivery of office results through ICT solutions and services

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications or a related field
• At least two years of relevant ICT, infrastructure, network administration, information security or telecommunications experience
• Fluency in English
• Open to South African nationals only

• Experience in a United Nations or international organization
• Leadership skills
• Contract-management experience
• Relevant country-level experience in development, fragile settings or humanitarian contexts
