Job Description
Supports UNICEF Mali’s Social Policy section through information-system and personal-data management for social protection and humanitarian cash-transfer programmes. Working under the Social Policy Specialist, the officer supports disability-inclusive and gender-transformative protection work, oversees data-management solutions and strengthens programme evidence across key cross-cutting themes.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Manage information systems and personal data within the Social Policy section
- Support social protection and humanitarian cash-transfer programme components
- Supervise implementation of software solutions and technical requirements
- Maintain beneficiary data and data-consolidation systems
- Contribute to priority cross-cutting social-policy themes in the UNICEF Mali programme
Role Requirements
- University degree in information systems management, information technology, computer science or a relevant discipline
- At least 2 years of experience managing beneficiary data for cash-transfer programmes
- Experience supervising software-solution implementation and understanding technical requirements
- Fluency in French
Desired Criteria
- Knowledge of English, another official United Nations language or a local language
- Experience in software design and computer science
- Experience developing management information systems for social-protection programmes
- Experience with government management information systems
- Experience with ArcGIS or Google App Engine services
- Experience working with United Nations agencies
