The seconded lead operationalizes INTERPOL’s data protection management system, monitors compliance and risk actions, coordinates the global network of national bureau data protection officers, supports impact assessments and governance reporting, and develops training and awareness across the organization.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Monitor data protection compliance
- Coordinate compliance reviews and mitigation actions
- Operate the data protection management system
- Track governance indicators and progress
- Engage national bureau data protection officers
- Support impact assessments and project reviews
- Prepare governance reports and guidance
- Deliver training and awareness
Role Requirements
- Current law-enforcement or governmental official in an INTERPOL member country
- Home administration confirmation of secondment through the National Central Bureau
- Relevant three-to-four-year university degree
- At least five years of compliance, governance, information management or cybersecurity experience
- Professional fluency in English
Desired Criteria
- Advanced university degree
- Relevant professional certification
- International law-enforcement experience
- Working knowledge of Arabic, French or Spanish
