Summary of Responsibilities
- Coordinate emergency supply-chain task forces, pipeline visibility and situation reporting
- Manage supply-chain surge and Emergency Response Unit readiness, deployment and learning
- Coordinate supply-chain inputs to Emergency Appeals, DREF operations and major grants
- Build private-sector partnerships and mobilize logistics resources for emergency response
- Lead supply-chain communications, visibility and representation in coordination forums
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, international relations, public administration or a related field
- 5 to 7 years of experience in humanitarian supply chain management, emergency operations or logistics coordination
- Experience coordinating supply chain activities during large-scale emergencies
- Fluent spoken and written English
Desired Criteria
- Professional certification in humanitarian logistics, supply chain management, project management or emergency management
- Fundraising, donor relations or strategic partnerships qualifications
- Experience with the Red Cross Red Crescent Movement
- Experience with grant proposals, emergency appeals or donor reporting
- French, Spanish or Arabic
