Responsibilities
- Provide authoritative legal advice on privacy, data protection and compliance risk
- Conduct and advise on data-protection impact assessments
- Review grants, partnerships, agreements, health programmes and cash activities
- Develop policies, model agreements, procedures and privacy tools
- Advise on data protection in digital technologies including artificial intelligence
- Train staff and external partners on privacy obligations
- Support National Societies and develop a data-protection-officer practitioner network
Requirements
- Law degree such as Bachelor of Laws, Juris Doctor or equivalent
- Admission to legal practice
- At least seven years of relevant legal experience
- Experience in contracting, privacy and data protection including impact assessments, notices and agreement negotiation
- Experience applying privacy principles to digital tools and artificial intelligence
- Fluent written and spoken English
