Internal Audit Manager

Leads UNICEF’s digital internal-audit services by shaping risk-based ICT audit strategy, assessing governance and technology controls, procuring and overseeing specialist vendors, assuring engagement quality, monitoring agreed actions and strengthening audit tools, policy and professional capability.

Department: Office of Internal Audit and Investigations

• Develop the digital audit strategy and risk-based ICT audit plan
• Create guidance for assessing ICT risks and controls
• Prepare vendor terms of reference and support technical bid evaluation
• Oversee consultant-led ICT audit engagements and delivery milestones
• Maintain engagement workpapers and evidence in TeamMate+
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and agreed actions
• Advance audit policies, innovation, knowledge sharing and staff capability

• Advanced degree in business administration, finance, economics, accounting, risk management, information technology or a related field
• At least eight years of progressively responsible experience in internal audit, external audit, ICT audit or ICT service management
• Authoritative knowledge of ICT governance, risk and control frameworks
• Project-planning, scheduling and monitoring capability
• Fluency in English

• Home-based P-4 temporary appointment linked to New York headquarters
• Position is assessed as an elevated child-safeguarding risk role and requires additional vetting
