Albanian Diaspora Experts - EU Accession Support

Mobilises Albanian diaspora specialists to provide remote expertise supporting Albania’s European Union accession process, including policy and legal research, institutional analysis, strategic drafting, stakeholder engagement and knowledge transfer across areas of the EU acquis.

• Assess gaps between Albanian legislation and the EU acquis
• Advise ministries on legislative alignment priorities
• Draft legal packages and amendments for acquis approximation
• Train public administration staff on legal alignment and concordance tables
• Support monitoring and reporting of the National Plan for European Integration
• Develop compliance assessment criteria and scoring tools
• Conduct comparative analysis with EU Member State legislation
• Translate EU legislation into Albanian and support harmonisation

• Advanced degree in EU Policy, EU Law, EU Studies or a field relevant to the assignment
• At least three years of relevant professional experience
• Strong knowledge of the Albanian legal system
• Fluency in Albanian and English
• Accomplished Albanian diaspora professional residing in an EU country
• Proof of medical insurance for non-occupational accident or illness before starting
