Job Description

Join UNICEF Pakistan's consultant roster to supply climate and environmental expertise for child systems. Assignments may cover policy, climate finance, renewable energy, data, innovation or environmental health; consultants analyse risks and evidence, design technical responses, strengthen government and partner capacity, and deliver outputs defined through specific terms of reference.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Provide specialised technical expertise in one or more climate, energy or environment roster areas
  • Support child-responsive climate policies, strategies and plans
  • Analyse climate risks, data and evidence for programming and investment decisions
  • Design or assess climate-resilient investments and technical approaches
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement, policy dialogue and capacity strengthening

Role Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in a listed climate, environmental, public-policy, development, economics, law or governance discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience in one or more roster areas
  • Fluency in English
  • Submit a CV, cover letter, writing samples, presentation sample and professional references

Desired Criteria

  • Knowledge of Urdu or relevant provincial or local languages
  • Experience with government, UN agencies, development partners or CEE-sector institutions
  • Technical writing, research and reporting capability
