Summary of Responsibilities
- Conduct an inception meeting to align the consultancy scope, methodology, workplan, timeline and deliverables
- Review care-service standards, operating procedures, quality-assurance frameworks and guidance for childcare, eldercare and disability care
- Analyse competency frameworks, qualification standards and development opportunities for paid care workers
- Analyse Asia-Pacific country practices to identify lessons and innovations for care systems and workforce development
- Develop a gender-transformative assessment framework, checklist and guidance note aligned with the TransformCare Investment Initiative
- Prepare draft and final knowledge products, presentations and knowledge-sharing materials through UN Women review processes
Role Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in business management, social sciences, public administration, international relations, communications or a related field, or a first-level university degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
- At least 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in gender equality, care economy or policy, social protection or related fields
- Excellent English writing skills
- Fluency in English

- Experience with UN processes and systems, particularly Project Documents and UN knowledge products
- Experience managing diverse stakeholders, particularly donors
- Experience working in or with developing countries
