Community Logistics Support Volunteer

Supports UNDP Jamaica’s Technical Assistance Centre as a National UN Volunteer delivering event logistics and operational coordination. The volunteer prepares materials, supplies and venue arrangements, coordinates with agencies and providers, supports registration and event spaces, manages inventory and records, responds to operational needs, directs crowd flow, supports contingency.

• Prepare materials supplies equipment registration packages signage and event resources
• Coordinate logistics with agencies community representatives service providers vendors and volunteers
• Support venue inspections setup registration areas booths waiting areas and signage
• Manage equipment supplies inventory replenishment and distribution
• Transport documents equipment supplies and messages between event locations
• Support agencies and partners with logistical needs
• Monitor event-space functionality crowd flow and signage
• Maintain attendance records distribution logs and logistics documentation
• Implement contingency arrangements and communicate operational progress
• Dismantle infrastructure inventory reusable materials and document issues

• Savanna-la-Mar residency
• English proficiency
• Basic digital literacy using smartphones tablets or computers
• Ability to perform light physical material-handling tasks
• Flexible event-preparation and implementation availability
