Job Description
The OSCE Secretariat seeks a temporary Communications Assistant in Vienna to meet demand for communications services and digital content. The assistant will produce materials, run corporate social-media campaigns, update the public website, support field offices, respond to media enquiries, create photo and video content, and coordinate communication delivery across the Organization.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Produce communications materials across multiple channels
- Create corporate social-media content and campaigns
- Maintain content on the OSCE public website
- Provide communications helpdesk support to OSCE operations
- Respond to media and public enquiries
- Record, edit and publish photography and video content
- Prepare news articles, media advisories, press releases and newsletters
- Coordinate communications activities with Organization-wide focal points
- Support basic graphic design, image editing and video editing
Role Requirements
- Completed secondary education
- Three years of relevant journalism, communications, public-information, digital-communications or multimedia-production experience
- Professional fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication
- Computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Nationals of an OSCE participating State
Desired Criteria
- Training in communications, journalism, multimedia production or a related field
- Experience writing, editing and preparing communications materials
- Experience with social-media management and website content management
- Experience with photography, video production, visual design or multimedia production
