Communication and Digital Design Support

Creates clear, visually engaging communication products for UNEP India’s environmental outreach, awareness and capacity-building work. The online volunteer translates supplied technical content into brochures, presentations, infographics, templates and print materials, maintains visual consistency, adapts products for audiences and channels, and revises designs in response to UNEP feedback.

• Design brochures, pamphlets, flyers, posters, information sheets and other UNEP communication materials
• Convert written and technical information into clear and visually appealing formats
• Design presentation decks for workshops, meetings, training programmes and stakeholder outreach
• Prepare infographics, process diagrams, visual explainers, charts and other visual elements
• Create reusable templates for slides, flyers, social-media cards and information sheets
• Improve the layout, readability and visual consistency of existing communication materials
• Adapt products for different stakeholder groups and communication channels
• Incorporate UNEP comments and feedback into revised design drafts

• Be enrolled in a university degree programme at Bachelor’s level or equivalent, preferably in graphic design, visual communication, communication design, digital media, fine arts, mass communication, media studies or a related field, or have completed a university degree
• English

• Proficiency in Canva or similar design platforms
• Familiarity with professional design tools including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator or Adobe InDesign
• Understanding of layout, typography, visual hierarchy, readability and presentation
• Ability to prepare materials for both digital and print use
• Attention to detail and ability to incorporate comments and revisions
