Summary of Responsibilities
- Support child-protection programme development and planning
- Manage and monitor child-protection programme results
- Provide technical and operational implementation support
- Coordinate with Bhasan Char and Cox's Bazar protection platforms
- Build partnerships with local stakeholders and affected communities
- Strengthen knowledge management and capacity building
Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Social Science, Law, Social Work or a related field
- At least one year of relevant child-protection experience
- Experience working with the United Nations, NGOs or relevant sectors and subsectors
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Fluency in English and Bangla
Desired Criteria
- Working knowledge of Chittagonian, Rohingya or Burmese
- Capacity-building or training skills
- Experience working in refugee settings
- Knowledge of community-based child-protection systems
- Knowledge of child-protection information management
- Ability to produce high-quality written work
