Job Description
Leads UNICEF’s child-protection programming in Ukraine, managing development, implementation, monitoring, reporting and evaluation across country-programme projects. The manager provides technical guidance, strengthens partnerships and knowledge management, and advances sustainable national and international action to protect children’s rights, safety, survival, development and wellbeing.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support development and preparation of child-protection programmes
- Manage implementation, monitoring, reporting and evaluation of child-protection programmes and projects
- Provide technical guidance and management support throughout programming processes
- Advance national and international efforts to create a protective environment for children
- Support programme and project development and planning
- Build networks, partnerships, knowledge management and capacity
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in international development, psychology, sociology, human rights, international law, social sciences or a related field
- At least eight years of relevant experience in child protection, social-development planning or child-protection management
- English proficiency
Desired Criteria
- Child-protection experience in developing countries
- Experience in child-protection programming and humanitarian settings
- UN agency experience
- Experience at country level in development, fragile settings or humanitarian contexts

- Based in Kyiv with expected on-site work and potential relocation within Ukraine depending on security conditions
