Child Protection Manager

Leads UNICEF’s child-protection programming in Ukraine, managing development, implementation, monitoring, reporting and evaluation across country-programme projects. The manager provides technical guidance, strengthens partnerships and knowledge management, and advances sustainable national and international action to protect children’s rights, safety, survival, development and wellbeing.

• Support development and preparation of child-protection programmes
• Manage implementation, monitoring, reporting and evaluation of child-protection programmes and projects
• Provide technical guidance and management support throughout programming processes
• Advance national and international efforts to create a protective environment for children
• Support programme and project development and planning
• Build networks, partnerships, knowledge management and capacity

• Advanced university degree in international development, psychology, sociology, human rights, international law, social sciences or a related field
• At least eight years of relevant experience in child protection, social-development planning or child-protection management
• English proficiency

• Child-protection experience in developing countries
• Experience in child-protection programming and humanitarian settings
• UN agency experience
• Experience at country level in development, fragile settings or humanitarian contexts
