Provides substantive programme support across assigned Climate and Clean Air Coalition portfolios, helping translate agreed priorities into coordinated delivery. The consultant plans projects and partnerships, prepares briefs and meeting materials, maintains workplans and records, monitors risks and results, and connects governments, experts and partners across Secretariat functions.

• Support planning and delivery of assigned CCAC projects, workstreams and partnership activities
• Conduct research and prepare draft briefings, presentations, correspondence and meeting materials
• Maintain workplans, trackers, databases, document repositories and records of decisions
• Organise meetings, workshops, consultations and partner engagements and follow up on actions
• Coordinate information flows with governments, implementing partners, experts and other stakeholders
• Monitor progress, risks, deliverables and results and undertake initial quality assurance
• Connect country, sector, science, funding, governance and partnership activities
• Contribute to knowledge management, process improvement and consistent Secretariat ways of working

• Advanced university degree in environmental science, engineering, international relations, public policy, development studies, programme or project management, communications or another field relevant to the assignment, or a first-level university degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
• At least two years of direct professional experience in climate change and air pollution
• In-depth knowledge of short-lived climate pollutants and their links to climate change, air pollution and sustainable development
• Experience working in multi-stakeholder partnerships and coordinating with organisations or stakeholder groups
• Fluency in written and oral English
