Leads specialist support for Climate and Clean Air Coalition portfolios, ensuring programmes and technical work are strategically designed, delivered and connected to Coalition priorities. The consultant advises governments and partners, manages complex projects and risks, quality-assures high-level products, and mobilises cross-functional expertise to improve results and institutional practice.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Provide strategic, programmatic or technical advice for an assigned CCAC portfolio, function, initiative or sector
- Develop proposals with priorities, delivery strategies, workplans, partnership arrangements and measures of success
- Advise on complex engagement with governments, partner organisations, funders, implementers and experts
- Manage scope, resources, timelines, risks, quality and results for major projects, grants and workstreams
- Quality-assure strategies, proposals, governance papers, donor products, technical outputs and communications
- Present CCAC priorities in senior policy, technical and partnership forums
- Identify strategic opportunities, delivery constraints, resource needs and emerging risks and recommend action
- Mobilise expertise across Secretariat functions and partner networks to deliver integrated outcomes
Role Requirements
- Advanced university degree in environmental science, engineering, international relations, public policy, development studies, programme or project management, communications or another field relevant to the assignment, or a first-level university degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
- At least ten years of progressively responsible professional experience in programme or portfolio leadership, climate change, air pollution, sustainable development, international cooperation, communications, science, policy or a related field
- In-depth knowledge of short-lived climate pollutants and their links to climate change, air pollution and sustainable development
- Extensive experience leading complex multi-stakeholder partnerships, programmes, portfolios or technical workstreams
- Fluency in written and oral English
