Overview
UNOPS seeks a Portfolio Specialist for the Global Fund for Coral Reefs to review programme proposals, monitor portfolio performance and safeguards, measure environmental and social impact, advise partners, develop partnerships and turn lessons into adaptive programme management.

Responsibilities
- Review and score programme concepts and proposals against GFCR objectives
- Verify proposal compliance with environmental, social and gender safeguards
- Develop monitoring frameworks and tools for portfolio performance and impact
- Produce progress reports, investment updates and lessons learned
- Advise investment and implementation partners on programme quality and documentation
- Lead assigned partnerships and advocacy initiatives
- Integrate evidence and learning into adaptive programme management
Requirements
- Master’s degree in environmental sciences, development studies, international relations, programme or project management, economics or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree with two additional years of experience
- At least five years of relevant experience with a master’s degree or seven years with a bachelor’s degree
- Portfolio-management experience covering project monitoring and quality assurance
- Track record managing donor-funded projects
- Fluent English
