Overview
Supervises civil-engineering and heating-infrastructure works in Dnipro or Samar for UNOPS Ukraine. The engineer coordinates design, construction and procurement, inspects contractor performance, controls quality, cost and schedule, enforces health and environmental safeguards and supports handover.

Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise civil-engineering projects from design through completion
- Coordinate rehabilitation, construction, procurement schedules and project reporting
- Review design briefs, bills of quantity, cost estimates and technical submissions
- Inspect construction work, materials and quantities against standards and specifications
- Monitor contractors, invoices, claims, delays, costs and payment recommendations
- Enforce health, safety, social, environmental and safeguarding standards
- Maintain site records, risk registers, progress reports and closeout documentation
- Liaise with government, beneficiaries and partners on permits, approvals and handover
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, structural engineering or a related field with two years of relevant experience, or a relevant master’s degree with no required experience
- Relevant experience in civil engineering, structural works, construction technology, construction supervision and monitoring or related areas
- Fluent Ukrainian
- Basic English
