Overview
UN-Habitat offers a six-month Luanda internship supporting sustainable urban development, housing and solid-waste initiatives through project concepts, partner outreach, indicator tracking, field and design work, data analysis, circular-economy pilots and municipal coordination.

Responsibilities
- Develop project concepts and identify community opportunities for resource mobilisation
- Prepare partner and donor meetings, outreach tools and stakeholder communications
- Track indicators and support UN-Habitat portfolio implementation
- Prepare layouts, calculations, drawings and visual aids for urban projects
- Collect and analyse urban, housing and waste-management data
- Support field inspections and community-based recycling initiatives
- Coordinate integrated solid-waste solutions with municipalities and local stakeholders
Requirements
- Current enrolment in or completion of a graduate programme, or enrolment in or completion of the final year of a first university degree
- Academic background in architecture, civil engineering, urban planning, community mobilisation, public health, geography, environmental engineering, waste management or environmental science
- Fluent spoken and written Portuguese
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
