Responsibilities
- Lead implementation and adaptive management across all project work packages
- Manage the project team, consultants, service providers and governance meetings
- Coordinate waste-management policies, consultations and institutional capacity building
- Oversee studies, engineering designs, safeguards and permits for treatment facilities
- Manage procurement, construction and commissioning of solid and healthcare waste infrastructure
- Establish monitoring, reporting, verification and grievance systems
- Control budgets, workplans, procurement plans and donor reporting
- Develop scale-up, resource-mobilization, communications and knowledge strategies
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in civil or construction engineering, environmental management, sustainability or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree with two additional years of experience
- Bachelor’s-degree applicants require at least two years of project-management experience
