Responsibilities
- Analyse technical and operational information across Montreal Protocol projects
- Prepare progress reports, management presentations and donor submissions in Quantum
- Support action plans, procurement plans, financial accountability and audit responses
- Coordinate technical activities with government, suppliers and refrigeration-sector stakeholders
- Draft and review terms of reference and technical specifications for contracted goods and services
- Monitor consultant and supplier contracts, schedules, deliverables and technical quality
- Lead research and market analysis on refrigerants, equipment, workforce and low-GWP technologies
- Produce technical knowledge products, lessons and evidence for future policies and projects
Requirements
- Master's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a related field, or bachelor's degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
- At least two years with a master's degree or four years with a bachelor's degree in refrigeration, air conditioning or energy-efficiency activities
- Professional experience in refrigeration and air conditioning with energy-efficiency and alternative-refrigerant solutions
- Engineering experience in sustainable-development projects
- Experience using information technology and Microsoft Office
- Fluency in Portuguese
- Intermediate English
