Responsibilities
- Coordinate project activities and deliver outputs under the annual work plan
- Manage the project team, consultants, contractors, budgets and delegated expenditures
- Monitor progress, risks and results using evaluation and risk-management tools
- Provide policy advice and technical guidance on biodiversity and natural-resource management
- Convene the Project Board and coordinate government, donor, UN and civil-society partners
- Guide technical assistance, strategic documents and resource-mobilisation efforts
- Ensure financial, procurement and administrative quality assurance
- Mainstream gender equality through activities, budgets, reporting and stakeholder support
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in natural resource management or environmental sciences, or a bachelor's degree in those fields with two additional years of qualifying experience
- Minimum five years of relevant experience with a master's degree or seven years with a bachelor's degree implementing projects related to natural-resource or environmental management
- Experience directly managing a programme or project of similar size and scope
- Experience partnering with government institutions on natural-resource or environmental management
- Fluency in English and one official language of Bosnia and Herzegovina
