Overview

Leads a COBSEA project in Bangkok to reduce abandoned, lost and discarded fishing gear in Indonesia and Viet Nam. The consultant directs technical delivery, partners and contractors, monitors budget, results, risks and compliance, and prepares English- and Korean-language donor reporting on collection and recycling systems.

  • Direct technical delivery across project outcomes
  • Coordinate consultants, partners and contractors
  • Manage donor, Korean partner and government relationships
  • Monitor progress, budget, results, risks and compliance
  • Prepare technical, financial and Korean-language donor reports

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in environmental management or a related field
  • At least five years of marine and coastal environmental experience including project management
  • Donor-funded project management experience
  • Marine-litter and plastic-pollution experience
  • Excellent English and Korean drafting skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
