Team Leader, Inclusive Growth and Sustainable Development

Leads UNDP Cameroon portfolios for inclusive growth, sustainable economic transformation, climate resilience and energy, providing strategic advice, overseeing programme quality and risk, mobilising finance and partnerships, and guiding teams toward integrated, scalable development results.

Department: Inclusive Growth and Sustainable Development

• Lead integrated portfolios for inclusive growth, climate resilience and sustainable energy
• Advise country-office leadership and government counterparts on policy and programme strategy
• Oversee programme design, implementation quality, results, risk and financial performance
• Mobilise resources and build partnerships with government, donors and financial institutions
• Coordinate policy research, knowledge products and technical advisory services
• Manage and develop the portfolio team and foster collaboration across practice areas
• Identify scalable solutions aligned with national priorities and the Sustainable Development Goals

• Advanced university degree in economics, agricultural economics, agronomy, environmental science, social science or a related field, or a first degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
• At least two years of relevant experience with an advanced degree or four years with a first degree
• Experience managing complex multi-sector development portfolios
• Experience developing partnerships and mobilising resources
• Fluency in either French or English with working knowledge of the other language

• The language requirement may be met through fluency in French and working knowledge of English or fluency in English and working knowledge of French
