Overview
Manages the FOLHA initiative supporting high-integrity jurisdictional REDD+ and forest finance in Brazil’s Amazon states. The analyst leads delivery, budgets, teams and donor reporting, assures ART/TREES technical outputs, coordinates government and community partners, and builds subnational capacity.

Responsibilities
- Manage project delivery, workplans, budgets, procurement and contracts
- Supervise project staff, advisers and technical consultants
- Monitor indicators, risks, delivery rates and donor requirements
- Quality-assure REDD+, safeguards and benefit-sharing technical outputs
- Coordinate federal, state, civil society and Indigenous community partners
- Lead capacity building on ART/TREES, safeguards and carbon markets
- Prepare progress reports and maintain donor communications
- Document lessons and identify resource mobilization opportunities
Requirements
- Master’s degree in environmental science, forestry, climate policy, economics, international development, public administration or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree with two additional years of experience
- At least two years of relevant project management experience with a master’s degree or four years with a bachelor’s degree
- At least two years working with federal or state government institutions in Brazil
- At least two years of experience in REDD+, jurisdictional approaches or climate policy
- Fluency in Portuguese and English
