Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership on water resources management and irrigation modernisation
  • Lead diagnostics on water governance, infrastructure performance and investment needs
  • Advise on digital and data-driven water management tools
  • Prepare technical reports, policy briefs and knowledge products
  • Support monitoring and evaluation for water-related interventions
  • Develop partnerships, concept notes and donor engagement materials

Requirements

  • Advanced university degree in water resources management, irrigation engineering, agricultural engineering, environmental science, climate change, natural resources management or a related field, or bachelor's degree with two additional years of experience
  • Minimum five years of relevant experience with a master's degree or seven years with a bachelor's degree
  • Experience in water resources management, irrigation modernisation or agricultural water management
  • Fluency in English is required
