Responsibilities
- Coordinate technical implementation of SHIELD project outputs
- Translate scientific evidence into policy recommendations and decision-support tools
- Update work plans, procurement plans and monitoring frameworks
- Track results, risks and compliance with environmental, social and inclusion standards
- Coordinate government, scientific, consortium and civil-society partners
- Develop policy briefs, technical reports and guidance for local governments
- Support budget planning, financial monitoring, procurement and consultant management
- Connect national systems with local implementation and cross-component learning
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in climate change, disaster risk management, environmental science, public administration, development studies or a related field, or a first-level degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
- With a first-level degree, at least two years of experience supporting development projects in climate change, disaster-risk management, resilience, policy, institutional coordination or scientific and data systems
- Fluency in English and Filipino
