Responsibilities

  • Research regional climate risks, policy developments and emerging thematic issues
  • Prepare training materials, presentations and knowledge products
  • Support organisation of webinars, workshops and regional learning events
  • Compile regional inputs for engagement in climate and biodiversity conferences
  • Track project progress and alignment with climate action goals
  • Prepare talking points, briefs, background notes and presentation inputs
  • Coordinate incoming requests with country offices and partners
  • Support Climate Action Unit operations during staff absences

Requirements

  • Final-year bachelor's student, graduate student or graduate within the last 12 months
  • Bachelor's degree in political or social sciences, development studies, climate change studies, law or a related field
  • Ability to organise and complete multiple tasks by establishing priorities
  • Excellent drafting and communication skills in English
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
