Responsibilities
- Coordinate operational, administrative and financial aspects of projects
- Monitor project implementation and recommend actions to address gaps
- Develop work plans, budgets, monitoring tools and SOPs
- Coordinate collection, verification and analysis of project data and background information
- Prepare and disseminate project reports under IOM and donor requirements
- Liaise with donors, partners, UN agencies, authorities and government counterparts
- Plan and deliver capacity-building activities for staff, government, civil society partners and communities
- Supervise and train project staff
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in a relevant field with two years of relevant professional experience, or master degree in a relevant field
- Experience liaising with governmental authorities, national and international institutions, UN agencies and NGOs
- Experience working with migrants in border management, returns and readmission, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking or other vulnerable groups
- Experience in project management and results-based management, including bilateral donor programmes and reporting
- Fluency in English and working knowledge of Finnish is required
