Project Support National Consultant

Supports IOM Egypt immigration and border governance activities by coordinating training, events, procurement, documentation, monitoring and reporting for border surveillance, search and rescue and maritime security capacity building.

Department: Immigration and Border Governance Unit

• Support implementation of capacity-building and technical-assistance activities
• Prepare, review and file project documentation including concept notes, agendas, briefing notes and mission reports
• Provide administrative and operational support for procurement, contracting, travel and consultant processes
• Coordinate meetings, workshops, trainings, study visits and high-level events
• Support monitoring and evaluation through data collection and participant feedback consolidation
• Develop and standardise templates for reports, questionnaires, surveys and interviews
• Undertake duty travel when required

• Bachelor degree in political science, law, human rights, international relations or another related field
• One to two years of relevant professional experience with a UN agency, international organisation or NGO, preferably in migration, humanitarian assistance, human rights or a related area
• Fluency in Arabic and English is required

• Travel may be required and daily subsistence allowance and flight tickets will be provided when applicable
• Consultants must provide their own medical insurance for non-occupational accident or illness
• Offer is subject to funding confirmation
• Appointment is subject to medical fitness, accreditation, residence, visa and security clearances
