National Project Specialist

Leads Nepal delivery of the Tiger Landscapes Investment Facility’s technical assistance arm, developing nature-positive enterprise pipelines, coordinating financial and conservation partners, overseeing resources and safeguards, and monitoring biodiversity, inclusion and investment impact.

Department: Resilience and Environment Portfolio

• Lead day-to-day management of Nepal’s Tiger Landscapes Investment Facility technical assistance arm
• Develop work plans, budgets, targets and reports and manage project resources, procurement and recruitment
• Establish pipelines of nature-positive enterprises with service providers, conservation organisations and financial institutions
• Strengthen partners’ capacity to apply eligibility, environmental and social safeguards and biodiversity-impact criteria
• Coordinate technical assistance, financial literacy and field monitoring for financed enterprises
• Maintain partnerships with government, communities, private-sector actors and the Tiger Conservation Coalition
• Integrate gender equality and social inclusion into planning, delivery, monitoring and risk management
• Oversee verification, impact reporting, knowledge exchange and visibility for the facility

• Advanced university degree in Finance, Environmental Science, Business Administration or a related field, or a relevant bachelor’s degree with two additional years of experience
• Minimum five years of relevant project implementation and management experience with a master’s degree or seven years with a bachelor’s degree
• Experience in planning, monitoring, reporting and stakeholder and team coordination
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications and web-based management information systems
• Fluency in English
• Fluency in Nepali
