Overview

Responsibilities
- Coordinate project activities with government ministries, FAO and implementation partners
- Monitor outputs, milestones, budgets, risks and quality standards against approved plans
- Prepare workplans, procurement documents, forecasts and implementation schedules
- Review consultant and service-provider deliverables and provide technical guidance
- Compile implementation data and prepare technical, operational and donor reports
- Coordinate field missions, evaluations, audits and monitoring exercises
- Maintain stakeholder partnerships and organise meetings, workshops and consultations
- Document lessons and produce knowledge products, briefs and case studies
Requirements
- Master's degree in civil engineering, water resources management, environmental management or a related field, or a bachelor's degree in those fields with two additional years of qualifying experience
- At least two years of relevant experience with a master's degree or four years with a bachelor's degree in climate change, environment, disaster management or project and programme management
- Project management experience covering coordination, financial management, risk management and partnerships
- Fluency in English and Arabic
