Programme Analyst Climate Change, Water, Energy and Environment

Supports strategy, implementation oversight, monitoring and partnerships for UNDP Yemen climate change, water, energy and environment programming.

Department: Climate Change, Water, Energy and Environment Portfolio

• Contribute to programme strategy, planning and analysis for climate change, water, energy and environment work
• Support portfolio implementation, monitoring, quality assurance and donor reporting
• Track results data, maintain monitoring tools and follow up on audit and evaluation actions
• Support partnerships, coordination, resource mobilisation and knowledge management for the portfolio

• Advanced university degree in environmental science, sustainable development, economics, business administration, social sciences or a related field, or a bachelor degree with two additional years of qualifying experience
• Minimum two years with a master degree or four years with a bachelor degree of relevant experience in development project management, monitoring and evaluation, programme design or coordination
• Fluency in English and Arabic

• Fixed-term local appointment
