Job Description

Supports WHO SEARO and India’s SAHI Secretariat to strengthen workforce capacity and change management for AI adoption. The national UN Volunteer develops roadmap actions, AI-literacy frameworks and learning content; coordinates institutions and government bodies; assesses capacity and barriers; prepares technical briefs; supports consultations; and monitors Pillar III milestones and risks.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Draft and finalise Pillar III implementation-roadmap actions on workforce capacity and AI literacy
  • Design competency maps and learning content for health workers and administrators
  • Coordinate health-training institutions, government departments and professional bodies
  • Assess institutional capacity and develop change-management approaches for AI adoption
  • Prepare technical notes, decision briefs and training frameworks
  • Track roadmap milestones, risks and cross-pillar dependencies

Role Requirements

  • At least seven years of professional experience in health-workforce capacity building, training design, health professions education, health-system change management or implementation support
  • Experience designing and delivering capacity-building or training programmes for health workers at scale
  • Working familiarity with India’s health-workforce landscape and digital-health ecosystem
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • English is required

Desired Criteria

  • Experience with the UN system or international development organizations is an asset
