Camp and Community Services Officer

Leads UNRWA camp and community services at Nour Shams Camp in Tulkarem. The officer represents the Agency with local authorities and refugee communities, coordinates programmes and services, monitors protection and neutrality concerns, acts as security and emergency focal point, manages office and staff activities, supports community communications, and helps maintain effective humanitarian.

• Represent the Agency at camp and surrounding-community level
• Coordinate with programme officers community representatives and NGOs
• Act as security and safety focal point and report incidents
• Monitor neutrality violations and protection issues
• Plan and manage Camp and Community Services Office activities
• Manage emergency preparedness and response activities

• University degree in business administration law development human science or a related field
• At least five years of experience in humanitarian community or social development
• Understanding of humanitarian and political challenges facing Palestine refugees
• English is required
• Internal candidates residing in West Bank or Jerusalem within commuting distance with authorization to work

• Arabic is desirable
• Camp conditions and refugee issues knowledge
• Resident of the camp or neighboring area is desirable
