Job Description
Support UNODC’s Nigeria Country Office to implement counter-terrorism capacity-building activities for criminal-justice counterparts. The officer coordinates technical assistance, project administration and partner engagement; prepares proposals, reports and briefings; monitors results and budgets; and uses data analysis to strengthen planning and terrorism-prevention delivery in Nigeria.

Summary of Responsibilities
- Support capacity-building activities for criminal-justice counterparts in Nigeria
- Coordinate procurement, recruitment, budget tracking and project follow-up
- Deliver technical presentations and briefings on terrorism prevention
- Develop project proposals, narratives and budgets with counterparts and donors
- Prepare reports and support monitoring and evaluation
- Analyse data and prepare visualisations for planning and decision-making
Role Requirements
- Advanced degree in law, criminology, criminal justice, international relations or related field, or first-level degree with two additional years of experience
- No professional experience required with an advanced relevant degree
- Fluent English
Desired Criteria
- Experience with counter-terrorism capacity-building projects
- Experience supporting European Union-funded projects
- Experience in the United Nations system or similar international organisation
- Data-analytics experience
